Sr Sales Specialist- AMD/Dell This is a hybrid role that can be based in either Harrisburg, PA or Clearwater, FL. Please note, candidates must be located within 60 miles of either office location. SUMMARY The AMD Senior Sales Specialist is responsible for driving vendor sales growth by serving as a subject-matter expert and trusted partner for AMD-powered Dell client and server solutions. Acting as an extension of the vendor, this role educates, enables, and supports D&H sales teams and reseller partners while leading sales initiatives, mentoring peers, and supporting strategic growth objectives. Maintains sound knowledge of diverse industry trends and technologies, the Senior Sales Specialist is responsible for leveraging their expertise, along with the experience of other D&H experts, to build, position, and sell new and advanced solutions, programs, and services. Creates and communicates tactical and strategic initiatives and forecasts aligned with the direction of the organization and vendor objectives. Collaborate with Dell Business Unit and VAR Sales Teams to maintain accurate pipeline and ensure effective application of AMD programs/incentives. Works closely with AMD Vendor Business Manager to develop account growth strategies. Ideal candidate should reside in the greater Harrisburg, PA or Tampa, FL area.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive sales growth by promoting AMD-powered solutions across D&H inside, field, and reseller sales teams. Serve as a vendor expert, providing education, training, and sales enablement to internal teams and partners. Participate in joint sales calls to position vendor solutions and close opportunities. Collaborate with Sales Management to identify opportunities, build action plans, and maintain pipeline accuracy. Partner with the AMD Vendor Business Manager to develop account strategies, forecasts, and growth plans. Coordinate with Marketing to support promotions, campaigns, live events, and reseller engagement. Manage and promote vendor programs, incentives, and manufacturer deals. Maintain CRM accuracy and ensure consistent communication on initiatives, programs, and forecasts. Stay current on manufacturer offerings, programs, and competitive landscape. Attend vendor and internal training as required; occasional travel expected. Train and mentor Sales Specialists, Inside Sales Representatives, and Field Sales teams. Assist the Vendor Business Manager as cross-functional liaison with Buyers, Marketing, and Sales teams to support vendor objectives.
