Position Overview Maverick Dental Laboratories is seeking driven, results-oriented Territory Sales Representatives to accelerate new customer acquisition and revenue growth within assigned territories. This highly visible outside sales role is responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities with dentists, specialists, group practices, and dental organizations. The ideal candidate is an accomplished sales professional with dental industry experience, strong prospecting skills, and a proven ability to build relationships with clinical and business decision-makers. This position requires a self-starter who can develop territory strategies, generate qualified opportunities, manage a robust sales pipeline, and consistently exceed sales goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & New Customer Acquisition Develop and execute territory sales strategies designed to drive new customer acquisition and market share growth. Prospect, identify, and engage dentists, specialists, multi-location practices, DSOs, and other organized dental groups. Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities through cold calling, referrals, networking, industry events, and strategic outreach. Generate new business opportunities and convert prospects into long-term Maverick clients. Consistently achieve or exceed territory sales and revenue objectives. Sales Execution & Relationship Development Establish relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within dental practices and organizations. Conduct in-person meetings, presentations, product demonstrations, and business reviews to communicate Maverick's value proposition. Develop a deep understanding of customer needs, clinical workflows, and business challenges to position customized solutions. Effectively communicate Maverick's products, services, technology, and competitive advantages throughout the sales process. Manage the sales cycle from prospecting through proposal development, negotiation, and closing. Pipeline Management & Forecasting Maintain accurate opportunity tracking, sales activity, and pipeline management within CRM systems. Provide regular forecasts and updates regarding pipeline health, territory performance, opportunities, and risks. Utilize a disciplined sales process to create predictable pipeline growth and sales results. Track key performance metrics and develop action plans to achieve territory growth objectives. Marketing & Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner closely with Marketing to leverage lead generation campaigns, sales collateral, presentations, and promotional initiatives. Utilize multi-channel marketing programs to identify and develop high-quality sales opportunities. Participate in trade shows, study clubs, continuing education programs, and industry events to increase brand awareness and generate leads. Collaborate with Operations, Customer Service, and Leadership to ensure a seamless customer onboarding experience and successful implementation of new business. Market Intelligence Stay informed on industry trends, competitive activity, emerging technologies, and market developments within the dental industry. Gather and communicate customer feedback, market insights, and growth opportunities to leadership. Serve as a market ambassador for Maverick Dental Laboratories within the assigned territory.
Qualifications:
Required Minimum 3 years of successful dental sales experience (dental laboratory, dental products, dental technology, implants, equipment, or related dental industry sales). Proven track record of generating new business and consistently achieving or exceeding sales goals. Strong prospecting, negotiation, presentation, and closing skills. Experience managing a sales territory and maintaining CRM systems. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to travel extensively throughout the assigned territory. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Preferred Existing relationships with dentists, specialists, DSOs, or dental organizations within the assigned territory. Experience in dental laboratory sales or related dental services. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Experience utilizing consultative and solution-based selling methodologies.
