Territory Sales Representative Job Description The Territory Sales Representative drives sales growth and delivers exceptional customer support for a portfolio of branded products and services, including lubricants, filters, chemicals, and diesel exhaust fluid. This role focuses on identifying and securing profitable new business within an assigned territory through proactive outreach, while building strong relationships with key decision-makers across industries such as agribusiness, agriculture, and construction. The position requires a consultative sales approach, effective use of CRM tools, and active collaboration with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and sustained revenue growth. Responsibilities Drive sales and provide customer support for branded products and services, including lubricants, filters, chemicals, and diesel exhaust fluid. Identify and secure profitable new business within an assigned territory through cold calling, lead generation, prospecting, and networking. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers to establish strategic partnerships and generate ongoing business opportunities. Deliver customized sales presentations tailored to client needs, using tools such as PowerPoint to clearly communicate value propositions. Contribute to the annual marketing plan by developing realistic product forecasts based on historical data, market trends, competitor activity, promotional strategies, and sales efforts. Utilize CRM tools to track sales performance, manage customer relationships, maintain accurate pipeline data, and consistently work toward exceeding sales targets. Provide proactive account management, including outbound calls and regular follow-ups, to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention. Build strong working relationships across all departments and collaborate closely with fellow employees to support shared sales and service objectives. Communicate clearly and professionally with internal and external stakeholders while demonstrating integrity, innovation, and a customer-first mindset. Maintain professional relationships that align with company values, both internally and externally, fostering trust and long-term loyalty. Collaborate proactively with support teams to ensure seamless execution of orders, services, and solutions for customers. Adapt to changing market conditions and customer needs while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced field sales environment. Essential Skills At least 2 years of business-to-business (B2B) sales experience, preferably in outside sales roles. Proven experience in sales, customer service, outside sales, cold calling, prospecting, account management, and outbound calling. Strong presentation skills, including the ability to develop and deliver effective sales presentations tailored to customer needs. Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint for creating and presenting sales materials. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms for managing accounts, tracking activities, and analyzing sales performance. Ability to quickly understand complex technical and business concepts related to products and customer operations, and communicate them clearly. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong interpersonal abilities to engage customers and internal teams effectively. Demonstrated ability to build trust and long-term relationships with customers and colleagues. Adaptability and the ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments. Willingness and ability to travel approximately 25-50% within the assigned territory. Residence within or ability to work remotely in the Twin Falls, ID area while covering the assigned territory. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience selling into agribusiness, agriculture, or construction industries. Familiarity with lubricants, filters, chemicals, diesel exhaust fluid, or related industrial products. Strong understanding of customer needs, market dynamics, and industry requirements within the assigned territory. Comfort working in a consultative sales environment, tailoring solutions to specific customer operations and challenges. Ability to contribute to marketing and sales planning by interpreting historical sales data and market trends. Motivation to achieve and potentially exceed sales targets, with the potential to significantly increase earnings based on performance. Strong teamwork orientation and willingness to collaborate with a professional sales and support team. Work Environment This role operates 100% remotely in the field, based in or around Twin Falls, ID, with expectations of a standard 8-hour workday. The Territory Sales Representative spends most of their time visiting customers, prospecting within the territory, and conducting meetings and presentations at customer sites or remotely. Travel within the territory is required approximately 25-50% of the time. The position relies heavily on CRM platforms, Microsoft Office (including PowerPoint), and phone and digital communication tools to manage accounts and coordinate with internal teams. The work environment is fast-paced and performance-driven, with strong support from a professional team. A company car and company phone are provided to support field activities, and the role offers the potential for significant earnings growth based on sales performance.
