Job Description
Veterinary Solutions Specialist 1245 North Patt Street, Anaheim, CA 92801 Hybrid work $50,000 a year - Full-time $50,000 a year - Full-time The Veterinary Solutions Specialist is a revenue-generating, client-facing role responsible for driving growth within the veterinary division through a combination of self-generated sales, consultative product expertise, and strategic account management. This role serves as both a subject matter expert and primary sales driver, actively identifying and closing new business while supporting external sales teams with clinical insight and product guidance. The Specialist plays a critical role in expanding market presence, increasing product adoption, and ensuring a seamless customer experience from initial outreach through fulfillment and ongoing support. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable prospecting, selling, advising, and coordinating internally to deliver results.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development Proactively generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, and industry engagement Own the full sales cycle: lead generation → qualification → consultation → closing → follow-up Drive revenue growth within the veterinary division by promoting equipment, instruments, and related solutions Build and maintain a strong pipeline of self-sourced and company-provided leads Identify opportunities to upsell, cross-sell, and expand existing accounts Develop strategic relationships with veterinary clinics, hospitals, and decision-makers Partner with leadership to meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets Product & Clinical Expertise Serve as the internal and external product expert for veterinary solutions Advise both customers and internal sales reps on product selection and clinicalapplication Translate clinical needs into practical product solutions that improve efficiency andpatient care Support the sales team by joining calls, providing recommendations, and strengthening close rates Stay current on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies. Inside Sales & Customer Management Manage inbound inquiries while maintaining a strong focus on outbound sales activity Conduct virtual consultations, product demos, and follow-ups to move opportunities forward Perform in-person clinic visits for product demonstrations, relationship building, and on-site evaluations Travel locally for active outreach, prospecting, and account development within assigned territory Represent the company at national trade shows, conferences, and industry events togenerate leads and expand brand presence Maintain accurate records of all activities, leads, and opportunities within CRM systems Ensure consistent communication with prospects and customers to drive engagement and conversion Operations & Fulfillment Coordination Collaborate with operations and inventory teams to align sales with product availability Assist in coordinating order details to ensure accurate, timely fulfillment Support demand forecasting by providing insight into pipeline trends and product needs Customer Success & Relationship Management Serve as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for veterinary clients Ensure a smooth transition from sale to delivery, onboarding, and ongoing use Proactively address customer concerns and drive long-term satisfaction and retention Build lasting relationships that lead to repeat business and referrals Partnerships & Market Development Build and maintain relationships with affiliates, distributors, and industry partners Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and networking events Provide feedback to marketing and leadership on customer needs, market trends, and product gaps Qualifications 5+ years of experience in a veterinary clinic setting (technician, assistant, practice manager, or similar) Strong understanding of veterinary workflows, equipment, and patient care Open to candidates transitioning from clinical practice into sales; must demonstrate interest in client-facing or revenue-generating work Ability to quickly learn technical product knowledge (training provided) Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills Self-motivated and comfortable managing multiple leads and priorities in aperformance-driven environment Experience with or willingness to learn CRM systems Ability and willingness to travel locally and nationally (up to ~25%); valid driver's license required Boundaries & Scope The Veterinary Solutions Specialist provides product education, workflow guidance, and sales consultation but does not offer medical or clinical direction. Final pricing, discounts, and contractual agreements follow internal approval processes. The position requires a hybrid sales approach, including both remote and in-person engagement. The Specialist is expected to actively travel for on-site clinic visits, product demonstrations, and relationship development, as well as attend national trade shows, conferences, and industry events (up to 25% travel) to drive lead generation and brand growth. The Specialist acts as a customer advocate in resolving issues, maintains ownership of opportunities through the full sales cycle, and contributes to market expansion through both direct sales efforts and in-person industry presence.Pay:
