Position Overview GS Exterior Experts is seeking a highly motivated, technically proficient Windows Sales Representative specializing in the residential Remove and Replace (R&R) remodeling market. Operating out of our Denver and Littleton headquarters, this individual will run pre-set, qualified in-home consultations throughout the Greater Denver and surrounding areas. The successful candidate will guide homeowners through selecting high-performance replacement windows (available in vinyl and fiberglass frames), including double-hung, single-hung, sliding, casement, awning, bay/bow, picture, and geometric styles. The representative must possess a deep understanding of R&R installation techniques, high-altitude window engineering, and municipal permitting guidelines.
Key Responsibilities Execute In-Home Consultative Sales:
Run 2 to 4 company-provided, qualified warm appointments daily, utilizing our structured, educational 45-minute consultation framework. Conduct Diagnostic Walkthroughs:
Inspect existing windows with homeowners to identify visual and physical failures, including sources of drafts, failed IGU seals, wood rot, and water intrusion. Prescribe R&R Installation Methods:
Accurately determine whether a project requires a Pocket (Insert) or a Full-Frame replacement, considering structural integrity, weather-barrier integration, and local building codes. Perform Technical Estimating:
Take precise window and rough-opening measurements, present homeowners with a customized "Good-Better-Best" tiered estimate, and introduce financing solutions. Navigate High-Altitude Engineering and Energy Codes:
Recommend window frame and glass packages that comply with the 2026 Colorado Energy Mandates and high-altitude breather-tube requirements. Execute Speed-to-Lead Protocols:
Collaborate with our administrative and marketing divisions to contact newly generated leads promptly. Collaborate with Project Teams:
Maintain communication with project managers to ensure seamless transition from contract signing to final inspection walkthrough. Utilize Company CRM:
Record customer interactions, project measurements, photos, and estimate data within the company's CRM. Required Experience and Qualifications R&R Window Sales Experience (Mandatory): A minimum of 2 to 3 years of successful sales experience in the residential Remove and Replace (R&R) remodeling market. Candidates whose window sales background is limited to new construction or builder-direct bidding will not be considered. Technical Remodeling Competency:
Deep understanding of the differences in labor, flashing, and trim requirements between Pocket and Full-Frame installations. Colorado Front Range Market Expertise:
Proven familiarity with high-altitude window constraints and the 2026 point-of-sale thermal standards. Consultative Sales Mastery:
Experience executing a value-first in-home estimate process. Familiarity with Local Building Codes:
Knowledge of IRC egress requirements, regional permitting processes (e.g., PPRBD), and Littleton Historic Preservation guidelines, including the Certificate of Appropriateness. Logistical Requirements:
Must possess a reliable personal vehicle, a valid driver's license, and a smartphone. Must exhibit exceptional self-motivation and communication skills. Compensation and Benefits Compensation Structure:
