Overview Join our dynamic team as a Xanthan Gum Sales Representative and become a vital driver of growth in the specialty ingredients industry! In this energetic role, you will leverage your expertise in business development, technical sales, and B2B relationships to promote our premium xanthan gum products. Your passion for sales combined with strong communication skills will help expand our market presence, build lasting customer partnerships, and deliver innovative solutions to clients across various industries such as food and oil. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead strategic initiatives, utilize cutting-edge marketing tools, and make a tangible impact on our company's success. Duties Develop and execute strategic sales plans to target new business opportunities within the xanthan gum market. Engage in cold calling campaigns to contacts with prospective clients and nurture existing accounts through proactive outreach. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure mutually beneficial agreements that align with company goals. Analyze market trends and customer feedback to identify new opportunities for business expansion. Lead negotiations with key stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of technical specifications and value propositions. Qualifications Proven experience in B2B sales, must be within the additive related industry involving xanthan gum or related compounds. Candidates based on East Coast or neighboring regions preferred. Current customer pool within food/oil additive or related industry. Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing complex deals successfully. Demonstrated ability in business development and account management to grow existing client relationships and acquire new customers. Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—to articulate technical information clearly and persuasively. Analytical skills to interpret market data, assess customer needs, and develop targeted sales approaches. Experience in cold/ warm calling techniques to initiate conversations confidently and build rapport quickly. Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork, motivate colleagues, and drive results.
Pay:
$130,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
