Cox Electric is looking for an experienced, motivated Lead Generator Service Technician to join our growing service team. This is a senior-level field position for a technician who has mastered the craft and is ready to take on a larger role, not by managing people, but by elevating the people around them. As our Lead Tech, you'll be the go-to resource for your teammates when complex technical questions arise, serving as a mentor and subject matter expert in the field. In addition to your own service work, you'll play a key role in strengthening the overall capability of our technician team through knowledge sharing, on-the-job guidance, and leading by example.

What You'll Do:

Perform scheduled annual maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on Generac automatic standby generators (air-cooled and liquid-cooled) Serve as a technical resource and mentor for fellow technicians, supporting the team with complex diagnostic and repair questions Maintain spare parts inventory on your company-provided vehicle Complete all service documentation and paperwork accurately and in a timely manner Report service issues and escalations to your supervisor promptly Keep your service vehicle clean, organized, and field-ready Participate in a mandatory rotating on-call schedule

Required Qualifications:

Mechanical knowledge is a MUST Positive attitude is a MUST Generac certifications (Air/Liquid cooled certified) 5 years of experience with Generac generators Experience with Next Gen Generators Hours are Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm Benefits include: 2 weeks PTO 12 Paid holidays 1 week paid sick time Health and Dental Insurance Company vehicle and gas card provided for jobs
