Sales Coordinator, Lead Specialist SUMMARY The Sales Coordinator, Lead Specialist serves as the primary point of contact for incoming sales inquiries and supports the Sales Office through lead qualification, client discovery, account development, and sales support initiatives. This position plays a key role in identifying business opportunities, maintaining client relationships, and supporting revenue generation efforts in alignment with departmental goals and objectives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Provide excellent customer service for our clients and their guests, third-party and direct bookings. Maintain visibility and integrity of our department throughout the resort, promoting mutual cooperation in assuring our clients are delivered the service as promised. Develop a trusting and long-term relationship with our accounts. Assist in identifying new business opportunities through account research and outbound prospecting efforts. Support Sales initiatives across the Sales Office including daily client service, acting as a sales contact and liaison for group lead inquiries and client communication. Conduct discovery conversations to better understand client objectives, meeting patterns, decision-making processes, and future business opportunities. Qualify in-bound sales opportunities and direct leads to the appropriate sales manager based on established guidelines. Maintain accurate lead activity, follow-up notes, and client information within Delphi.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree preferred. Three to five years of hospitality sales, lead qualification, business development, customer engagement, or related experience preferred. Experience with Delphi strongly preferred. Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace. Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process. Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to communicate customer needs and resolve complaints independently. Ability to establish and achieve goals. Ability to identify and assist in the development of accounts. Ability to act independently with minimal or no supervision. Must possess basic computational ability. Must possess computer skills, including, but not limited to, accounting programs, Microsoft Word and Excel. Math skills, as well as budgetary analysis capabilities required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Most work tasks are performed indoors and at a desk. Temperature is moderate and controlled by hotel environmental systems. Must be able to sit at a desk for extended periods of time. Walking and standing are required for the rest of the working day. This may include traveling to and from meetings. Length of time for these tasks may vary from day to day and task to task. Must be able to reach other departments of the hotel on a timely basis. Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs., occasionally. Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening, hearing ability and visual acuity.
