Competitive Base Salary and Commission Position Overview We are seeking an experienced, highly driven Business Development & Account Representative to develop and manage relationships with personal injury attorneys and law firms. This is a growth-focused role for a sales professional who understands the personal injury industry, excels at building trust with attorneys and legal staff, and has a proven ability to generate partnerships. The ideal candidate has experience selling services directly to personal injury law firms and understands the unique challenges attorneys face, including client retention, treatment compliance, case progression, medical provider coordination, and maximizing case value. This position requires a hunter mentality, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to become a trusted resource within the personal injury community. Key Responsibilities Business Development Identify, prospect, and secure new personal injury law firm partnerships. Conduct in-person visits, networking events, lunches, presentations, and strategic meetings with attorneys, case managers, paralegals, and firm leadership. Develop and execute territory growth plans to increase referral volume and market share. Educate attorneys and legal staff on company services and how they positively impact case outcomes and client experiences. Establish relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within personal injury firms. Account Management Serve as the primary relationship manager for assigned attorney accounts. Maintain consistent communication with attorneys and support staff to strengthen partnerships and identify growth opportunities. Ensure attorney expectations are met through proactive problem-solving and exceptional service. Monitor referral trends and develop strategies to increase account utilization. Conduct quarterly business reviews and strategic planning sessions with key accounts. Industry Relationship Building Develop a strong presence within the personal injury legal community. Attend legal networking events, bar association meetings, CLE events, and industry conferences. Build relationships with attorneys, legal administrators, case managers, and litigation support professionals. Serve as a trusted advisor and resource for clients and referral partners. Performance Expectations Consistently achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual goals. Generate new attorney relationships and referral-producing accounts. Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and documented activity within CRM systems. Provide regular reporting on activity, account performance, and market intelligence. Qualifications Required 3+ years of business development, outside sales, or account management experience. Experience selling products or services to personal injury attorneys. Proven ability to build and maintain referral-based business relationships. Strong understanding of the personal injury case lifecycle. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a sales territory. Professional presence and ability to interact confidently with attorneys and firm leadership.
