This is not a desk job. You will be in the field meeting homeowners face to face, evaluating their fireplace and chimney systems, educating them on what they need, and building relationships that produce long-term customers. Your ability to communicate clearly, build trust, and present solutions is what will set you apart and determine your earning potential. This position offers a base salary of $41,600 with a commission structure that rewards performance. Your earning potential grows as you grow. Top performers in this role have the opportunity to earn well beyond the base through the relationships they build and the work they produce. No chimney experience is required. We will train you on everything you need to know. What we cannot teach is work ethic, attitude, and the ability to connect with people. You either have that or you do not. What the Career Path Looks Like You start as an apprentice working alongside our most experienced technicians in the field. You learn the systems, the products, the inspection process, and how to present findings to homeowners in a way that builds confidence and drives results. From there, Chimspector invests in your professional certifications.

These are industry-recognized credentials that set you apart from the rest of the trade and open the door to higher earning potential. Once certified, you step into a Lead Technician role. You run your own inspections, manage your own customer relationships, and earn commission on the work you produce. The better you are with people and the more trust you build, the more you earn.
