Job Description
The Role Our company operates a growing collection of textile recycling bins across coastal South Carolina and North Carolina. We are hiring our first outside sales representative to expand our footprint. You will identify and secure new bin placement locations across a defined territory centered on Conway, SC. That means prospecting in the field, building relationships with business owners, property managers, church administrators, school officials, and municipal contacts, and closing simple placement agreements. We take care of everything after that — delivery, servicing, and pickup. This is a new position with no existing account conflicts and a broad, largely untapped territory. Strong performers will have real opportunity to grow their book of business over time. This is a field-first role. You'll spend most of your time driving your territory, walking into businesses, and having conversations. If you thrive behind a desk or need someone to hand you leads, this isn't the right fit. What You'll Do Scout your territory — Drive your region daily to identify high-traffic locations where a collection bin would get consistent use. Think shopping plazas, gas stations, churches, schools, grocery stores, apartment complexes, county recycling facilities, and commercial parking lots. Build relationships — Walk in, introduce yourself, and pitch our free hosting program to business owners, property managers, church administrators, school officials, and other decision-makers. No cold calling from a cubicle — this is face-to-face, on their turf. Close agreements — Secure simple one-page placement agreements.
We handle everything after that:
delivery, servicing, pickup. You just find the right spot and get the handshake. Maintain quality — Not every location is a good one. You'll learn what makes a site productive during your first week through ride-alongs with our team, visiting our top-performing locations. We pay more for quality placements, not just volume. Stay organized — Log every visit, conversation, and follow-up in our CRM. Track your pipeline. Report on your week every Friday in a 30-minute check-in.Compensation Base salary:
$40,000/year (paid biweekly) plus per-placement commission. Uncapped. There is no ceiling on what you can earn. Total comp lands around $60,000. Strong performers will exceed $70,000. 2+ years of outside sales, route-based sales, or field business development experience Reliable personal vehicle and clean driving record Comfortable walking into a business cold and starting a conversation with the owner Based in the coastal Carolinas (within reasonable commuting distance of Conway, SC) Self-directed and organized — you'll be managing your own schedule and territory daily Responsive communicator who keeps their CRM current without being remindedDealbreakers:
