Job Description

Outside Sales Representative
  • Southeast Territory Position Summary The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales growth and developing customer relationships throughout the Southeast Territory.
This role focuses on identifying opportunities, solving customer challenges, and delivering value through Stafast's products and services. Success in this position requires a proactive, service-oriented approach and strong collaboration across internal teams. Key Responsibilities Sales & Territory Development
  • Manage and grow an assigned Southeast Territory, including (but not limited to) the Carolinas, Georgia, Florida, and surrounding areas
  • Develop new business opportunities while strengthening relationships with existing customers
  • Conduct in-person visits, virtual meetings, and regular communication to drive engagement and close sales
  • Take full ownership of territory sales performance and customer development Customer Engagement & Solutions
  • Identify customer needs and recommend solutions related to fastening, assembly, and automation applications
  • Collaborate with customers to improve processes, efficiency, and product performance
  • Support new product development initiatives by identifying opportunities and guiding projects through implementation
  • Perform basic equipment or application support, including light machine maintenance during customer visits when needed Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Sales, Operations, and Engineering teams to deliver effective solutions
  • Coordinate joint sales calls, technical support, pricing, and delivery timelines
  • Communicate customer feedback and market insights internally to improve service and product offerings Market Awareness & Relationship Building
  • Stay informed on market trends, pricing, and supply conditions to advise customers effectively
  • Maintain strong customer relationships to generate repeat business and referrals
  • Monitor industry developments through trade publications and ongoing learning Reporting & Sales Operations
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity, customer interactions, and expense reporting
  • Participate in sales meetings, conferences, and trade shows, including booth setup and representation
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and financial guidelines related to sales activities Travel Requirements
  • Approximately 40% travel required, including both driving and air travel based on customer needs
  • Must maintain reliable transportation and a driving record acceptable to company insurance standards
