Full Job Description Job Summary :

The Counter Sales representative supports branch sales operations by providing exceptional service to walk-in and phone-in customers. This role assists with product selection, order processing, and fulfillment while ensuring accuracy and efficiency. The position also helps maintain an organized and customer-friendly sales environment. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / TASKS

Greet and assist customers at the counter with product selection, pricing, and availability Answer incoming calls and provide accurate product and order information Process sales transactions and generate invoices using company systems Locate, pull, and stage products for customer orders using inventory tools and catalogs Load materials into customer vehicles safely and efficiently Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked sales floor and counter area Support inventory activities including stocking, organizing, and cycle counts Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment. Build strong customer relationships to support repeat business and customer satisfaction

• None required

Educational Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• HVAC or related product knowledge preferred

Years of Experience:

• 1-3 years of customer service, sales, or warehouse experience preferred Knowledge / Skills /

Abilities:

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Basic math and attention to detail
• Ability to read and interpret invoices, catalogs, and product numbers
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn internal systems
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 70 lbs
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Pay:

$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
