Full Job Description Job Title:
Sales Representative Position Summary The Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business opportunities, maintaining client relationships, and promoting the company's construction services. This role involves identifying potential customers, preparing proposals and estimates, negotiating contracts, and working closely with project managers to ensure customer satisfaction throughout the construction process. Key Responsibilities Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, cold calling, and industry events. Develop and maintain strong relationships with property owners, developers, general contractors, architects, and other key stakeholders. Meet with prospective clients to understand project requirements and present company capabilities. Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, bids, and contract documents. Collaborate with estimating and project management teams to develop accurate project pricing and timelines. Negotiate contracts and close sales while ensuring profitability goals are met. Track leads, opportunities, and sales activities using CRM software. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and construction industry developments. Attend trade shows, community events, and networking functions to promote the company. Provide ongoing support to clients throughout project execution to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business. Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Qualifications High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field preferred. 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in construction, building materials, or related industries. Strong understanding of construction processes, terminology, and project lifecycles preferred. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships. Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites and industry events. Bilingual a plus!
