Entry level role focused on client consultations for life, health, and supplemental insurance. In-office, commission-based (1099). About the role Benz Consulting Group is expanding in Nashville and seeking Sales Consultants ( Entry Level) who want a structured path into sales leadership. This in-office role focuses on client consultations, relationship building, and delivering tailored insurance solutions. We provide training, mentorship, and regular performance feedback.
Note:
This is an independent contractor (1099) position paid on a commission basis. Compensation varies by performance; the listed $71,000-$101,000 is an estimate of typical first-year earnings for many new consultants and is not guaranteed.

Key responsibilities Conduct client consultations to explain life, health, and disability insurance options. Build and maintain client relationships through follow-up and service. Create individualized sales strategies to meet client needs. Participate in training, coaching, and team meetings. Maintain accurate client records in the company CRM. Required qualifications Valid Driver's License (required for business-related travel to client meetings). Right to work in the U.S. (as applicable for independent contractors). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Coachable, reliable, and goal-oriented. Basic computer skills; comfort using CRM systems or similar tools. Preferred (not required) Prior customer service or sales experience. Experience with CRM or lead management tools. Compensation & employment classification (clear, compliant language) This role is classified as an independent contractor (1099) and is commission-based . Commissions are uncapped , and earnings depend on individual performance. Benz Consulting Group provides training and sales support; contractors are responsible for their own taxes, benefits, and expenses as required by law. Work environment & schedule In-office position in Nashville, TN.
Typical working window:
8:00 AM - 8:00 PM, Monday-Friday . Shift scheduling and hours will be discussed during the interview process. This role may require occasional travel within the region for client meetings.
