Job Description

Overview Are you passionate about creating memorable experiences and driving sales success? The 5th Street Group is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Sales & Events Coordinator to lead the promotion, planning and execution of exceptional events that elevate our brand and delight our guests. In this role, you will be the key driver behind event marketing outreach initiatives, client relations, and seamless event coordination. Key Responsibilites Event Coordination & Execution Promote and execute all private, semi-private, and offsite events Finalize all event details and secure signed BEOs (Banquet Event Orders) from clients Send the daily morning event text and print kitchen copies Check OpenTable and keep the picklist, packets, and restaurant materials up to date Close out all events and complete event follow-ups Assist with onsite tours for prospective clients Sales & Client Relations Generate leads and assist with client outreach and follow-ups Complete business drop-offs and host hotel groups (hotel drops) Host open houses and networking events Serve as the liaison between other departments and the client to deliver service that fits each client's needs, budget, and timeline Build and maintain relationships with local companies, restaurants, event vendors, and hotel teams Build and maintain relationships with other Sales & Events Managers in the surrounding hospitality community Strategy & Reporting Work closely with the Sales & Events team to assess departmental progress and develop sales strategies Partner with the Marketing department to drive organic business and event sales Generate progress reports and outline strategies for improvement Networking & Community Presence Attend multiple evening networking events each quarter as a representative of the company Join and remain active in multiple networking groups Qualifications 1-2 years minimum of event sales and coordination experience Working knowledge of the Nashville market Ability to gain and maintain all client relationships Organized and possess a high level of administrative ability to effectively manage paperwork Prior experience working in hospitality (restaurant, event venue or hotel) is preferred Must be fluent in English and possess strong communication skills, as liaison with clients and colleagues is a large focus within the position Due to the volume of communication that will be required with the client, excellent customer service skills are required Proficient in Microsoft Office Must be willing to work evenings and weekends as needed based on events Experience using the TripleSeat platform or similar CRM is preferred Benefits Annual salary (based on experience) plus uncapped commission Health, Eye and Dental Insurance Paid time off
