To that end, you need to be dressed in clean clothes that reflect a professional attitude. No tee shirts, or anything with profanity, or promotes alcohol or drug use. Be respectful in your tone of voice and language when answering the phone or speaking to a walk-in customer.
Sales Jobs:
- Be the first person to answer the phone, cheerfully and promptly.
- Greet and Serve all customers who walk in the office with a smile and positive body language.
- Field requests for inventory items to be quoted or priced out for Outside Sales Reps, and send out to the customer or sales rep at their request.
- Receive all incoming Small Package and Freight shipments from vendors & enter item receipts into QB.
- Send out all outgoing Small Package and Freight shipments to customers & enter Sales Orders/Receipts into QB.
- Field requests for information from customers and outside sales reps for merchandise not held as inventory in Abilene, Lubbock, or Midland. o Communicate such information to the researcher and assist in the finding answers that the customer wants.
- Complete all repair tags for walk in customers and send merchandise to the Shop for repair.
- Send off all merchandise for outsourced calibration.
Administrative Jobs:
- Participate in weekly Sales Meetings.
- Participate in any and all Physical Inventory activities for the Lubbock location
- Assist Outside Sales as requested finding merchandise for customers.
- Communicate with the shop regarding any and all merchandise in for repair, for customers from your area.
- Communicate any customer developments or information to management in a timely manner.
- Participate in continuing education regarding the products we represent as requested by management.
Janitorial Jobs:
- Regularly clean the showroom, and restrooms.
- Keep warehouse clean and free of debris
- Clean the counter and leave merchandise for customers in a neat and organized manner at the end of every day
- Communicate with Store Manager needs for cleaning & office supplies
