Our precision-engineered training solutions are used by military forces, law enforcement agencies, and security professionals worldwide, enabling operators to train in the most realistic and safe environment possible. About the Role The Inside Sales / Customer Service Representative handles customer inquiries, processes orders, manages solicitations, and supports outside sales activities. This role is integral to UTM's growth, with a strong emphasis on outbound sales calls to convert quotes, upsell, cross-sell, and develop new business. Responsibilities Respond to inbound calls and emails via the Helpdesk ticket system; follow up on customer inquiries professionally and promptly Provide quotes, product and pricing information to Military, Law Enforcement, Dealers, and other customers; document all communications in CRM and Helpdesk systems Process purchase orders, order changes, adjustments, and cancellations from domestic customers Use Oracle to retrieve customer, inventory, and order status information Perform outbound sales calls to existing and prospective customers to drive revenue growth Manage solicitations through GSA, Unison, Beta SAM, and similar platforms per UTM protocol Relay technical product inquiries to Technical Support or the Outside Regional Sales Manager Support outside sales representatives by assigned geographic region Requirements Associate's degree or equivalent, or 1-3 years of experience in customer service or sales Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience with or ability to quickly learn a CRM or Helpdesk management system Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently or as part of a team Why Join UTM?
