This role is focused on prospecting local businesses, agencies, nonprofits, political organizations, schools, professional service firms, and other companies that use or could benefit from outsourced printing, direct mail, mailing services, kitting, fulfillment, and recurring customer communications. The ideal candidate has experience in B2B sales, local business development, commercial printing, direct mail, marketing services, advertising sales, promotional products, office services, or another relationship-based sales environment. This is a performance-driven sales opportunity for someone who is comfortable calling prospects, asking good questions, qualifying opportunities, and helping turn prospects into long-term customers. Responsibilities The B2B Sales Representative will be responsible for: Calling targeted prospect lists to identify potential customers Finding decision-makers at businesses and organizations Asking qualifying questions to understand current print, mail, and fulfillment needs Identifying companies that currently use outside vendors for printing, mailing, or direct mail Introducing our company's services in a clear and professional way Setting appointments or follow-up calls with qualified prospects Tracking prospect activity, notes, next steps, and opportunities Following up with prospects after initial conversations Helping build a pipeline of new business opportunities Communicating prospect needs to management or estimating/production teams Representing the company professionally with local businesses and organizations Ideal Candidate The best candidate will have experience in one or more of the following areas: B2B sales Outside sales Business development Commercial printing Direct mail Mailing services Marketing services Advertising sales Promotional products Office equipment or office services Media sales Political campaign services Nonprofit fundraising or donor communications Local business sales Required Qualifications Prior B2B sales, prospecting, or business development experience Comfortable making outbound calls to businesses Ability to speak professionally with business owners, office managers, marketing directors, nonprofit leaders, campaign staff, and operations managers Strong communication and follow-up skills Ability to ask good questions and identify real business needs Organized enough to track activity, call notes, and next steps Self-motivated and comfortable working in a performance-based role Professional, reliable, and persistent Driver's License Personal vehicle or reliable means of transportation Preferred Qualifications Experience selling printing, direct mail, mailing services, fulfillment, advertising, marketing services, promotional products, or other B2B services Existing relationships with local businesses, agencies, nonprofits, political organizations, schools, or professional service companies Experience using a CRM, spreadsheet, or sales tracking system Knowledge of direct mail, postcards, newsletters, invoices, customer notices, donor letters, campaign mail, or recurring business communications Comfortable with both phone prospecting and in-person local business development Compensation This is a commission-based sales opportunity with strong income potential for the right person.
Compensation includes:
Daily Per Diem Commission on new business generated Potential ongoing commission on repeat customer work Final compensation structure will be discussed during the interview process and will depend on experience, role structure, and level of involvement.
