Our goal is to increase our market share in the long term care medication market through the acquisition of a "preferred pharmacy" status among senior living, assisted living and specialty long term care facilities to service. The candidate will work with the Pharmacy Director to establish/implement a robust sales and marketing plan to achieve/exceed our quarterly goals as well as strengthen our current customer relationships. This position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently, the ability to plan and execute sales/marketing strategies and a deep desire to continuously "close" deals. The candidate should have sales experience, knowledge of the Long Term Care (LTC) environment and knowledge of pharmacy operations. Upward mobility within the company is available to highly successful individuals.
Responsibilities:
Build relationships and close deals with senior living and assisted living communities. Build relationships and close deals with hospice and memory care centers. Educate Director of Nursing and support staff on proper procedure and protocol with the pharmacy. Act as a liaison between communities and pharmacy to assist in resolving issues. Report status on each account relationship quantitatively and qualitatively. Implement new sales strategies and marketing plan. Create, implement and support new sales and marketing campaigns. Create program to help supplement patient support. Other areas of opportunity available after proven results.
Qualifications:
2+ years experience in sales with pharmacy background with a proven track record of success A motivated self-starter who understands the importance of growing sales High school diploma or equivalent Bachelors degree preferred Friendly, energetic, and customer service oriented Must have reliable transportation Must be able to pass a criminal background and drug screening tests
