$22.00 / hour + Performance-Based Commission o About Us & Who We Are Looking For We are a newly established U.S. subsidiary of a premier South Korean power equipment company, specializing in high-quality transformers and switchgear distribution. As we expand our commercial footprint across key U.S. markets, we are seeking a seasoned industry veteran to support our executive leadership as a Technical Sales Advisor. We do not just look for sales reps; we deeply value the lifetime of industry networks, technical wisdom, and professional credibility that only senior industry veterans can bring. This role is highly flexible and tailored for those who want to leverage their existing infrastructure networks without the stress of daily office grinds. o
Key Responsibilities Strategic Client Introductions:
Leverage your existing industry network to introduce our high-quality Korean switchgear and transformer solutions to potential buyers, contractors, and utilities.
Sales Advisory:
Provide technical insights and market intelligence to the Director of U.S. Operations to help refine our U.S. market entry strategy.
Lead Generation Support:
Identify and qualify commercial sales opportunities within Texas and target regional markets.
Executive Collaboration:
Partner directly with our executive team, serving as a senior commercial anchor for the brand in the U.S. o
Qualifications & Preferences Required:
Legal authorization to work in the United States.
Highly Preferred:
10+ years of proven track record in technical sales, business development, or engineering within the power equipment, electrical distribution, switchgear, or utility sectors.
Network:
An active or easily reactivated network of contacts within the U.S. electrical infrastructure, EPC, or construction industry.
Fit:
A respected industry professional who possesses strong communication skills and the natural ability to open doors at the executive level. o What We Offer (A Respectful & Meaningful Post-Retirement Role)
Compensation:
$22.00/hour (Base for 60 hours/month) + Highly attractive commission structure on successful contract closures.
Ultimate Flexibility:
This is a part-time, hybrid/remote role. Work on your own schedule from anywhere in Texas, focusing on high-value networking rather than daily office hours.
A Role of High Respect:
You will work as a peer and senior advisor to the Director of U.S. Operations, not a micro-managed sales agent. Your decades of experience will be our greatest asset. (
Note:
As a newly established startup, we provide all mandatory payroll taxes and workers' compensation insurance but do not offer employer-sponsored health insurance or 401k matching for part-time positions. This role is ideal for retired professionals with independent coverage.)
