This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building relationships, solving customer challenges, and driving sales growth. The Inside Sales Representative will develop and maintain relationships with residential dealers, commercial HVAC contractors, building owners, and self-servicing end users. This position plays a key role in supporting customers by identifying equipment solutions, providing quotations, processing orders, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. Responsibilities:
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers. Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate HVAC equipment, parts, and supply solutions. Manage sales leads and opportunities from both existing and new customer accounts. Collaborate with team members to estimate, design, and accurately quote projects. Conduct sales of HVAC equipment, supplies, and OEM parts via phone and email. Process customer orders, returns, and related documentation accurately and efficiently. Coordinate and support equipment and product promotions. Respond promptly to customer inquiries, questions, and concerns regarding products, services, pricing, and availability. Order required equipment and parts to meet customer needs and project timelines. Maintain accurate inventory records and update databases as necessary. Develop and maintain knowledge of Trane products and related HVAC offerings to effectively support customers. Enter and manage equipment, supplies, OEM parts orders, returns, and associated transactions. Support branch operations and assist with additional duties as assigned. Work overtime or weekends as needed to support business demands.
Qualifications & Skills:
Strong customer service orientation with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel. Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team environment. HVAC industry experience preferred.
Education & Experience:
Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree preferred. Two (2) to five (5) years of customer service, inside sales, HVAC distribution, or related experience preferred. Experience in the HVAC, construction, distribution, or industrial products industry is a plus.
