Job Overview We are seeking a motivated Field Sales Representative to join a leading food delivery platform's Merchant Growth team. In this role, you will be responsible for acquiring new restaurant partnerships, expanding market presence, and driving business growth across emerging and underserved markets. This is a highly visible, customer-facing position that requires frequent travel, face-to-face meetings with business owners, and strong closing skills. The ideal candidate has experience selling to small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), particularly within the restaurant, hospitality, food, or beverage industries. Key Responsibilities Prospect, engage, and sign new restaurant partners within assigned territories. Conduct in-person sales meetings with restaurant owners and decision-makers. Present the value of partnering with the platform and negotiate partnership agreements. Manage a fast-paced sales cycle from prospecting to closing. Travel extensively throughout assigned markets to develop new business opportunities. Build and maintain strong relationships with local restaurant operators. Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers to execute territory growth strategies. Consistently meet or exceed sales and partnership acquisition goals. Utilize company-provided sales tools, marketing materials, and CRM systems to manage activities. Required Qualifications 2.5+ years of sales experience in a closing role or related field sales environment. Proven success in business development, outside sales, account acquisition, or merchant sales. Experience selling to SMBs (Small and Medium Businesses) preferred. Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively. Comfortable with face-to-face sales and cold prospecting. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to travel up to 50% or more, including occasional overnight stays. Preferred Qualifications Restaurant, food service, beverage, hospitality, or merchant services sales experience. Experience selling technology, software, delivery, advertising, or business services. Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong desire to achieve and exceed goals. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment. TSNIT01
