Negotiable, depending upon relevant experience.Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Sales Support Specialist to serve as a key point of contact for our customers while supporting our Sales Team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring a seamless order process—from quoting and order entry through delivery and post-sale support. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Supply Chain, and Production to ensure accuracy, resolve issues proactively, and deliver exceptional customer experience. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is detail-oriented, and takes ownership of their work.Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries via email, phone, and chat. Process, enter, and confirm customer orders in the ERP system with a high degree of accuracy
- Identify non-standard orders and coordinate required approvals or change requests
- Accept and confirm orders non-standard products and initiate a CR for the product.
- Create solutions and ensure a smooth sales process.
- Carry out client satisfaction surveys and reviews.
- Issue Return Material Authorizations (RMAs) and process credit requests
- Proactively monitor order status and communicate delays or issues to customers and Sales
- Maintain a customer sales history file system for all sales and sample transactions.
- Generate and maintain quotes, including pricing for non-standard products
- Communicate non-standard department circumstances to the supervisor.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and transparency to supervisors.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- College degree preferred with at least 2 years' relevant experience in a customer service or inside sales related capacity; or high school diploma with at least 5 years' relevant experience.
- Experience working with ERP systems and CRM systems (Salesforce a plus).
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Demonstrable proficiency with Microsoft Office - Excel and Word.
- Demonstrable aptitude for math; ability to perform calculation and conversion between English measurement system and metric system.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build rapport with customers.
- Must possess excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively.
- Must be self-motivated and have the ability to effectively manage stress.
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to understand and comply with company policies and Health & Safety requirements.
- Ability to work on-site.
