Experience:
Previous sales experience (automotive preferred but not required).
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in business or marketing is a plus.
Language:
Bilingual (English & Spanish) is required to communicate with clients and staff Driver's license: Valid Class C Driver's license with a clean driving record is required to operate vehicles and complete assigned job tasks.
Requirements:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent negotiation and closing skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Basic computer skills and ability to use CRM systems.
Duties:
Greet customers in the showroom or lot and identify their vehicle needs and preferences. Explain product features, warranties, financing options, and after-sales services. Conduct test drives and demonstrate vehicle performance and features. Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers to encourage repeat business. Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets set by management. Stay current on inventory, pricing, financing programs, and manufacturer incentives. Prepare sales contracts, paperwork, and reports accurately and in compliance with company policies. Collaborate with the finance and insurance (F&I) department to finalize sales. Follow up with leads from phone calls, online inquiries, and referrals. Maintain a clean, professional showroom and uphold company brand standards.
