Commission only — uncapped. Realistic first-year earnings $80,000-$100,000; experienced reps with an established builder book earn $150,000+. Location:
DFW — field-based About Abel Door & Trim Abel Door & Trim supplies and installs interior and exterior doors, trim, and millwork for builders, general contractors, and remodelers. We compete on margin and on getting the job done right. We're expanding our sales coverage and looking for self-driven reps who'd rather be paid on what they close than capped by a salary. What You'll Do Develop new business with home builders, GCs, remodelers, and supers in your territory Quote doors, trim, and millwork packages and own the deal from bid to close Manage and grow a book of repeat builder accounts Work alongside our PM and install teams to keep jobs profitable and customers happy Hunt — most of your time is spent in front of buyers, not behind a desk What We Offer Uncapped 1099 commission paid on the revenue you bring in You earn more when the job earns more — commission scales with the margin you protect, so well-quoted, profitable work pays you above the baseline Monthly commission payouts, paid one month in arrears A real product line, install crews, and PM support behind every deal you close Freedom to run your territory like your own business Earnings Examples These assume our standard 30% target margin. What We're Looking For Proven B2B or construction-products sales experience (doors, trim, building materials, or related a strong plus) Existing relationships with builders/GCs in the area are a major advantage Self-starter who is comfortable being paid on performance Reliable transportation and valid driver's license Ability to read plans/takeoffs or willingness to learn Details This is a 1099 independent contractor role. You are responsible for your own taxes, schedule, and business expenses. Commission is paid on invoiced revenue and trues up to the actual margin at job close. A 180-day adjustment applies to credits, refunds, and short-pays on closed deals. To apply:
