Work in a place that values and celebrates who you are. A_ Lead Counter Sales Associate _at White Cap… Demonstrates exceptional customer service to our walk-in, phone, and will call customers. Orders products, arranges delivery, contacts customers regarding delivery and updates customers on order status. Serves as point of contact for escalation issues. Provides training and support to new counter staff. Acts as liaison between supervisor and customers. Ensures purchase orders are completed. Upsells by identifying related products, add-on extensions and making customers aware of product promotions. Ensures merchandise displays are stocked and clean. Generally, has 7+ years of experience. Performs other duties as assigned. Preferred Qualifications Strong experience in counter sales, customer service, or a related customer-facing role Experience handling complex customer issues or escalations and driving resolution Ability to train and support team members while contributing to daily operations Proficiency with sales order systems or ERP tools (e.g., Oracle or similar) Solid understanding of construction or industrial products and related applications Ability to manage multiple priorities, including order processing, customer follow-up, and in-store support Proven ability to recommend products, upsell effectively, and support margin goals Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and build customer relationships If you're looking to play a role in building America, consider one of our open opportunities.
