In this vital role, you will serve as a trusted advisor, guiding patients and their families through the complexities of hospice care options. Responsibilities Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers, hospitals, and community organizations to promote hospice services. Conduct engaging educational sessions to explain hospice care offerings effectively. Manage existing accounts while proactively identifying new opportunities for growth through outside sales efforts. Negotiate contracts and service agreements with healthcare facilities and referral sources to ensure mutually beneficial partnerships. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient transitions into hospice care programs. Utilize analysis skills to assess market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback for continuous improvement. Maintain detailed records using Microsoft Office tools such as Word and PowerPoint to support sales strategies and reporting. Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries promptly, resolving concerns efficiently, and ensuring client satisfaction. Lead outreach initiatives by organizing educational seminars, community events, and professional networking activities. Qualifications Proven experience in Hospice products or services. Strong negotiation skills combined with excellent communication abilities to articulate complex information clearly. Demonstrated success in account management and outside sales environments. Familiarity with the Melissa, McKinney, PLano, and Richardson area. Leadership qualities that enable effective team collaboration and influence stakeholders at various levels. Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple accounts, schedules, and documentation efficiently. Analysis skills to interpret market data, sales metrics, and customer feedback for strategic decision-making. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word and PowerPoint for presentations and reporting purposes. Outstanding customer service orientation with a compassionate approach toward patients and families navigating end-of-life care.
