Dell USA L.P. is seeking anAdvisor, Strategic Business Development at its Round Rock, Texas facility.

Duties:

Conduct in-depth research on advancements in AI and ML at the intersection of technology and business. Develop and provide strategic recommendations on AI, ML, and business opportunities in IT infrastructure and services space to technology business executives, enabling them to make data-driven decisions and drive innovation within the company. Drive key strategic and transformation initiatives and support the development of long-term growth plans and profitability goals. Apply data analysis methods and advanced modeling techniques to develop financial models that grow Dells core business and support strategic expansion initiatives. Participate in projects, including analysis and recommendations related to emerging industry trends and expansion opportunities, including mergers and acquisitions, competitive threats, viability of outside business partners, venture capital sources, internal business performance, and business process improvement. Evaluate market data and collaborate with industry analysts, customers, partners, suppliers, research institutions, academia, and subject matter experts to identify trends/opportunities and translate into strategic operational plans. Build the business case for forward-leaning technology and emerging growth area opportunities to generate buy-in for investment across the business.

Requirements:

Masters degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management or related field plus three (3) years of experience in engineering or a related occupation OR Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management or related field plus five (5) years of experience in engineering or a related occupation.

Requires experience with:

evaluating hardware and software systems, including computer systems, requirements, and quality; developing strategies that leverage emerging technologies and data to solve opex inefficiencies and business KPI; advising strategic consulting and transformation initiatives within large, matrixed organizations to align technology solutions with business objectives; performing research, analysis, and synthesis of complex technology topics to support evidence-based recommendations; and leading cross-functional projects to ensure alignment with client goals, timelines, and budgets.
