In addition to providing the previously mentioned, ROMCO also offers a wide arrange of attachments and support equipment for the Compact Equipment portfolio. ROMCO Equipment Company, is currently seeking a proven, self-motivated Sales Professional to manage the Austin and South-Central Texas Territory. Job Purpose The Sales Professional will assist in establishing ROMCO Equipment Company as the leading compact equipment provider within the Texas Market. The Sales Professional will interact with customers and promote all aspects ROMCO Equipment Company including, but not limited to the sales, service, rental, and lease options. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Selling, renting, or leasing new/used equipment to new prospects and existing customers Developing and increasing compact equipment/attachments sales in the respective territory Generate and build strong and lasting business relationships with prospective and existing customers Communicate with all levels of customer's organization including jobsite personnel, operators to upper management and decision makers Forecast sales and communicate with operations to ensure availability of inventory Gathers, identifies, and understands competitive landscape Follow, track and understand national and local economic trends and developments that impact local market Resolve basic customer product and technical issues Attend trade shows and prepare machines for demonstrations and sales Cold-calling potential customers and promoting customer satisfaction Coordinating and ensuring accuracy in sales/warranty documents Actively participate in organized and computer training to assist in personal development and staying current with new products and benefits All other duties assigned Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements Possess effective customer service skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Exceptional organizational and time management skills Ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism and integrity Display excellent judgement at all time Actively use Sales database / CRM to develop and track sales territory Education and Experience Display excellent judgement at all time Actively use a Sales CRM to develop and track sales territory Must be comfortable communicating with all levels of your customer's organization (jobsite personnel/operators to upper management and decision makers) Able to perform equipment demonstrations Must have prior equipment sales experience in similar equipment industry Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be alert and is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Working Conditions and Additional Requirements This job operates in an office and field environment. Office hours are from 8:00am to 5:00pm with occasional needs outside standard business hours to accommodate meetings, training and projects. Frequent travel is required. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. This position routinely requires use of personal or company vehicles on company business. Individuals must be physically capable of operating the vehicles safely, possess a valid driver's license and maintain an acceptable driving record. Employees in this position will be subject to random Motor Vehicle Record and alcohol and drug testing as a condition of continued employment.
