Duties Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly manner. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties. Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits. Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer purchases and increase sales. Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays, stocking shelves, and ensuring products are well presented. Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting discrepancies. Supervise junior staff when necessary, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth operations. Utilize retail math skills to assist with pricing, promotions, and inventory control. Communicate effectively with team members and customers to foster a collaborative environment. Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers; bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for accurate transactions. Experience in merchandising and stocking is advantageous. Demonstrated ability in upselling products and enhancing customer experience. Knowledge of grocery store operations is a plus but not required.
