This is a high-income opportunity for motivated technicians who are comfortable working with customers and recommending repairs and upgrades. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair residential and light commercial garage doors at scheduled service calls Perform spring replacements, opener installs, door installs, and various repairs Sell new garage doors and openers, reviewing options with customers and building estimates Communicate clearly with customers and recommend appropriate services and upgrades Deliver professional, customer-focused service Follow-up with unsold, interested customers to close the deal & earn more Requirements Strong communication and customer service skills Mechanical aptitude / hands-on problem solving Ability to lift 75+ lbs, kneeling, climbing, working in varying temperatures Self-motivated and dependable 1+ Years of Sales experience Valid driver's license with clean driving record Criminal background check and drug test (THC excluded). Basic comfort with navigation apps, Google tools, tablets, and software. Reading and basic math skills for measurements and payments. Preferred Experience Garage door technician experience, with some commercial work Experience working on electric gates Sales experience (in-home service sales is a plus) Background in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or similar trades Compensation Structure This role is commission-based, with uncapped earning potential (18% of top-line repair revenue) .
