Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Construction Sales Representative to join our growing team! In this role, you will be the driving force behind expanding our presence in the construction industry by building strong relationships with clients, managing key accounts, and generating new business opportunities. Your passion for sales, combined with your technical knowledge and management skills, will help us deliver exceptional solutions to our customers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead territory management efforts, conduct product demonstrations, and develop innovative strategies to boost sales growth across diverse markets. Duties Develop and execute strategic business development plans to increase market share within assigned territories. Engage in outside sales activities, including cold calling, networking events, and client meetings to generate leads and foster new relationships. Manage existing accounts through proactive account management strategies, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention. Conduct detailed product demos and technical sales presentations tailored to client needs, highlighting features and benefits of our construction solutions. Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track leads, manage customer interactions, and analyze sales data for continuous improvement. Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements effectively while maintaining profitability and customer satisfaction. Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns that support lead generation and brand awareness efforts. Maintain comprehensive territory management by analyzing market trends, identifying new opportunities, and optimizing sales routes. Skills Proven experience in outside sales, B2B (business-to-business) sales, or technical sales within the construction or related industries. Strong management skills with the ability to oversee multiple accounts and territories efficiently. Expertise in business development strategies that drive growth through lead generation and direct sales efforts. Proficiency with CRM software such as Salesforce or similar platforms for customer relationship management and analysis. Excellent negotiation skills combined with a customer service mindset focused on building long-term relationships. Ability to deliver compelling product demos and upsell solutions tailored to client needs. Strong analysis skills to interpret market data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights for territory expansion. Effective communication skills for inside sales calls, retail interactions, and professional networking engagements.
