Job Description for High-Growth Sales Environment Position Overview Elk Ridge Investments is seeking a highly driven, competitive, and ambitious Founding Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help fuel the next stage of our growth. This is not a traditional SDR role. We are a fast-growing company operating in a high-performance sales environment where speed, execution, and results matter. The SDR will work directly with the Head of Sales to identify, engage, and qualify high- income professionals who may benefit from Elk Ridge's investment and tax strategy solutions. Top performers will have the opportunity to help build the future SDR organization, influence sales strategy, and grow into leadership or closing roles as the company scales. Core Responsibilities Execute 100+ outbound activities daily across calls, email, LinkedIn, and other prospecting channels. Conduct research to identify potential accounts and decision-makers within target markets. Generate qualified meetings that directly contribute to company revenue goals. Qualify leads by understanding prospect needs, challenges, financial goals, and fit for Elk Ridge solutions. Collaborate closely with Account Executives to ensure smooth opportunity handoff. Maintain accurate CRM records and activity tracking. Support inbound marketing campaigns and rapidly respond to new opportunities. Stay current on investment strategies, tax benefits, industry trends, and competitor offerings. Test, refine, and optimize messaging based on market feedback. Consistently exceed pipeline generation, activity, and meeting goals. Provide strategic feedback to sales leadership regarding lead quality, market trends, and messaging effectiveness. Operate with urgency in a fast-moving sales environment where speed-to-lead and consistent execution drive success. Consistently exceed outreach activity expectations. Become a reliable source of qualified pipeline. Demonstrate strong objection-handling and discovery capabilities. Within 12
Months:
Become a top-performing SDR. Generate meaningful revenue opportunities for the business. Position yourself for advancement into Account Executive, SDR Team Lead, or Sales Leadership opportunities as the company continues to grow. Education & Experience Bachelor's degree preferred. 1-3 years of experience in sales, business development, customer service, financial services, SaaS, FinTech, or related fields. Familiarity with CRM platforms, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Gong, Sales Engagement Platforms, and lead generation tools is highly preferred. Compensation & Career Opportunity Elk Ridge offers a competitive base salary plus uncapped performance-based commission tied directly to pipeline generation and sales outcomes.
