Kelso Building Services is hiring a results-driven outside sales professional with HVAC experience to grow our commercial service and project business. This role is best suited for someone who thrives in prospecting-heavy environments and can confidently sell technical solutions to facility and operations leaders. This is a field-based, hunter role —success comes from proactive outreach, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to close. What You'll Do Prospect and win new business through cold calling, in-person visits, referrals, and networking Conduct on-site assessments and recommend HVAC service and system solutions Build and manage a qualified pipeline with consistent follow-up Develop and present professional proposals, bids, and contracts Partner with operations and estimating teams to ensure accurate scope and execution Maintain strong client relationships to drive repeat business and referrals Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets What We're Looking For 2+ years of HVAC or mechanical sales experience (required) Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems and services Proven track record of prospecting and closing new business Comfortable with cold outreach and face-to-face selling Skilled in consultative selling, negotiation, and objection handling Experience using a CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally Compensation & Benefits Base salary + commission Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off + paid holidays Ongoing training and career development Ideal Candidate You're a self-starter who doesn't wait for leads—you create them.
