Part Time: Business Development Representative (20 hrs a week | 8-12PM)

About the Role Banzai is looking for a motivated, outgoing, part-time Business Development Representative (BDR) to support our District Outreach team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our growth by identifying, researching, and qualifying new school district accounts. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in tech sales and business development, all while enjoying flexible hours near the BYU campus. What You'll Do As a part-time BDR, your primary mission is to bridge the gap between initial interest and a booked meeting.

Your day-to-day will include:

Prospecting & Research:

Identifying key decision-makers within school districts (such as Superintendents, Curriculum Directors, and Career & Technical Education coordinators).

Outbound Outreach:

Conducting cold calls and sending tailored email campaigns to introduce decision-makers to Banzai's free financial literacy program.

Lead Qualification:

Asking strategic questions to evaluate a district's needs and interest level.

Handoffs:

Successfully scheduling and connecting qualified district leads with our full-time District Outreach team for deep-dive presentations. Base pay is $14/hr with weekly bonus pay, based on hitting your activity goals. If you complete your call quota, you get a weekly bonus of $200 each week. We are looking for someone who is comfortable and confident on the phone to fill this spot. Someone who is ok with taking rejection and able to work the grind. We are more interested in skills and work ethic than experience. We are happy to help you grow into the role.
