Atlas Disposal Industries is a leading, independently owned waste management company with over 25 years of experience, dedicated to supporting local communities and preserving the environment. As an Outside Territory Sales Representative, you will play a key role in driving business growth by acquiring new customers and nurturing existing relationships within the South Salt Lake County, Utah territory. This position offers the opportunity to work both independently and collaboratively with a supportive sales team, utilizing your sales expertise to develop strategies that meet and exceed revenue goals. Responsibilities Prospect and acquire new customers within the assigned territory by offering quotes and bids in line with company guidelines. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers through regular meetings and proactive retention strategies. Stay informed about current market trends, industry developments, and company offerings. Utilize the companys CRM tool daily to manage leads, opportunities, and customer information. Apply critical thinking to develop effective solutions for customer needs and issues. Collaborate with the sales team to achieve shared goals and contribute to overall company success. Perform other duties as assigned to support business objectives. Qualifications Prior outside sales experience required. Strong negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with prospects and customers. Experience with cold calling and setting appointments with commercial and construction clients. Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and follow-up abilities. Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Proficient in using computers, Microsoft Office suite, and sales tools. Outstanding oral, written, telephone, and listening communication skills. Minimum of 2 years of college education; a college degree is preferred. Relevant work experience may be considered in place of educational requirements. Valid drivers license and reliable transportation required.
