We make precision prescription lenses for independent eye doctors across the Mountain West — and we've been doing it for nearly two decades. We're growing, and we're looking for a driven sales rep to help us expand our doctor account base across Utah and the broader Mountain West. This is a relationship-driven role. You'll be calling on independent optometry practices, introducing them to PVL, and building the kind of trust that turns a first order into a long-term partnership. What You're Walking Into This is a ground-floor opportunity. PVL has a strong reputation, a loyal customer base, and nearly two decades of operating history — but we've never had a dedicated salesperson. You won't inherit a polished playbook. What you will have is a great product, a team that backs you up, and real ownership over how this function gets built. If that sounds exciting, keep reading. What You'll Do Prospect and develop new optometry practice accounts across your territory Manage and grow relationships with existing doctor accounts Represent PVL at industry events and local optometry association meetings Collaborate with lab staff and customer support to ensure a smooth experience for your accounts Help shape the sales process, tools, and territory strategy as you go The Ideal Candidate Self-motivated and comfortable working independently — you don't need someone looking over your shoulder A relationship builder, not a pressure closer — independent optometrists are busy professionals, and trust is everything Organized and consistent with follow-through Entrepreneurial mindset — you're energized by building something, not just maintaining it Hungry to grow with a company that's actively expanding A Note on Optical Experience You don't need an optical background to succeed here. If you know how to sell and build relationships, we can teach you the product. That said, if you've worked in an optometry office, as an optician, or in optical sales — that experience is a genuine advantage. You'll speak the language from day one. Requirements Based in Utah with reliable transportation for in-territory visits Comfortable with CRM tools, email, and standard office software Experience in optical, healthcare, or calling on small medical practices is a plus — not a requirement Compensation Base salary: $45,000-$75,000 depending on experience Commission structure on new and retained account revenue Mileage reimbursement for in-territory travel About Premier Vision Laboratory For nearly two decades, PVL has offered big-lab capabilities with small-lab accountability.
