Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative specializing in blinds to join our expanding sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving business growth by establishing new client relationships and managing existing accounts within designated territories. Your expertise in outside sales, business development, and account management will be essential to delivering tailored window treatment solutions to residential and commercial clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills, a proactive approach to lead generation, and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. Duties Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand market presence within assigned territories through targeted prospecting and lead generation activities. Conduct comprehensive product demonstrations of blinds and window treatments, highlighting features, benefits, and customization options. Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact through closing, including cold calling, follow-up, and negotiation. Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients by providing personalized service, technical support, and ongoing account management. Collaborate with marketing teams to implement promotional campaigns that increase brand awareness and generate new leads. Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track sales activities, manage customer data, and analyze sales performance metrics. Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional products or services to existing customers. Coordinate with management on territory planning, sales forecasting, and performance reporting. Provide feedback on customer needs and market trends to inform product development and marketing strategies. Ensure timely delivery of products by liaising with logistics teams while maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction. Experience Proven experience in outside sales, B2B (business-to-business) sales, or retail sales within the home improvement or interior design industry. Demonstrated success in managing territory sales through effective territory management techniques. Familiarity with reading a tape measure to measure windows is
REQUIRED
Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent communication abilities to facilitate customer engagement and closing deals. Knowledge of technology sales or technical sales related to window treatments is advantageous. Experience in lead generation strategies including cold calling and direct sales approaches. Ability to analyze market data, identify potential clients, and develop tailored solutions that meet customer needs. Prior experience in managing accounts, upselling products, and providing exceptional customer service is highly desirable. Pay:
$46,529.75 - $56,035.83 per year
