We are looking for a reliable, outgoing, and sales-driven Weekend Farmers Market Sales Representative to represent our brand at select farmers markets and community events throughout Virginia and DC. This is a part-time weekend opportunity (Saturday and/or Sunday) ideal for someone with retail sales, customer service, food sales, brand ambassador, or direct sales experience who enjoys connecting with people, educating customers, and earning based on performance. The Role You will represent La Caldería at farmers markets by creating an inviting booth experience, educating customers, and converting conversations into sales.

Responsibilities include:

Arrive on time and be ready to represent the brand professionally Engage customers, offer samples, and confidently explain the benefits of our products Create positive customer interactions and actively drive sales Process customer purchases and maintain accurate inventory Help maintain a clean, welcoming, and elevated booth experience Represent La Caldería with professionalism, energy, and enthusiasm Work independently while managing the full market experience Who We're Looking For The ideal candidate: Has previous retail sales, customer service, food sales, farmers market, or brand ambassador experience Enjoys talking with people and naturally builds rapport Is comfortable approaching customers and confidently recommending products Has the ability to turn conversations into sales Is reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently Has a reliable vehicle and the ability to travel to assigned farmers market locations Is comfortable working outdoors for several hours Has an interest in wellness, real food, and quality products Previous sales experience is highly preferred Schedule & Compensation Weekend markets only (Saturday and/or Sunday availability) Markets typically run 5-6 hours, with setup and breakdown time Must be able to commit to assigned market dates Compensation includes: Hourly pay starting at $18/hour Plus tier-based sales commissions — higher sales = higher commission earnings Customer tips when applicable Employee product discount A bag of La Caldería dog treats to take home after each market (or trade with fellow vendors!)
