Senior Business Development and Strategy Representative -
SI&WS Company:
The Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Business Development and Strategy Representative/Executive Assistant (Level 5) to join the Space, Intelligence and Weapon Systems (SI&WS) team in Arlington, VA, Berkeley, MO, El Segundo, CA, Houston, TX, Huntsville, AL or Saint Charles, MO! The Business Development & Strategy Executive Assistant position is a developmental opportunity to work directly with the Vice President of Business Development and Strategy, as well as other senior executive members of the Space, Intelligence and Weapon Systems and Boeing Defense and Security (BDS) Business Development & Strategy Leadership Teams. This is an excellent knowledge and growth experience to gain exposure to all aspects of Business Development & Strategy as well as other functions associated with running a multi-billion-dollar sales team. A successful candidate has a strong desire for learning, can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, adept at delivering results and building relationships. The position is planned for 2 years to allow enough time to develop additional leadership skills, learn the complexities of the role, team and customer and to plan and prepare for a future assignment. Strong communication and organizational skills are critical to success in this position, along with the ability to build strong relationships, collaborate in a cross-functional environment, and utilize problem-solving skills to proactively identify and manage risks and opportunities.
Position Responsibilities:
Oversees the day-to-day functioning of the Space, Intelligence and Weapon Systems (SI&WS) Business Development & Strategy (BD&S) Team. Works with
SI&WS BD&S
Vice President to define and execute team operating rhythm and prepare for key meetings with senior stakeholders. Responsible for New Business Fund management for the division and coordination with BDS Core strategy on changes and progress to the investment plans for SI&WS. Ensures organizational alignment with Boeing processes and compliance requirements, particularly those surrounding enterprise standard gate reviews and business transaction reviews in coordination with BDS, SI&WS, Finance and Contracts leadership teams. Serves as the
SI&WS BD&S
focal for communication and coordination between the SI&WS Leadership Team and BD&S organizations for regular deliverables, briefings, meetings and work packages as required. Coordinates closely with Finance and BD&S to ensure alignment on financial metric tracking against SIWS Long Range Business Plan goals. Coordinates with BDS BD&S and SI&WS front offices. Responsible for managing
SI&WS BD&S
sponsorship and contribution budgets in coordination with the BD&S Operations team. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 3+ years of experience working with senior and/or executive management 5+ years of experience working in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines 5+ years of experience collecting, organizing, synthesizing and analyzing data 5+ years of experience leading and working in a cross functional and complex global environment, building relationships among a team through open dialogue, trust, accountability and empowerment and building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail Strong collaboration and communication skills (oral and written) Active Secret clearance is preferred Bachelor's Degree or higher Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Summary pay range:
Arlington, VA, El Segundo, CA & Houston, TX $164,050 - $212,950 Huntsville, AL, Berkeley, MO & St Charles, MO $153,300 - $207,000 Applications for this position will be accepted until July 6, 2026
