This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, solving problems, building relationships, and working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. The right candidate will play a key role in supporting our customers, growing sales, and helping drive the success of the branch through strong product knowledge and outstanding customer service. Responsibilities Build and grow customer relationships by providing exceptional service and support. Generate new and repeat sales by educating customers on products, features, benefits, and solutions. Identify opportunities to increase sales through cross-selling, up-selling, add-on sales, and promotional items. Accurately process customer transactions including quotes, orders, returns, and invoicing. Work closely with outside sales representatives and branch teammates to support customer needs and grow accounts. Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, and in person in a professional and timely manner. Locate, source, and obtain parts for customers, including processing buyouts for non-stocked items. Coordinate parts orders and communicate with warehouse, delivery, and management teams to ensure timely service. Maintain ongoing communication with customers to strengthen relationships and resolve concerns quickly. Assist walk-in customers with order questions, quotes, and product recommendations. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional counter and parts area. Stay informed on product offerings, industry trends, and customer needs. Perform additional duties as assigned. Expertise in the heavy-duty or automotive aftermarket industry is highly preferred. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Job Requirements Previous parts counter, automotive aftermarket, heavy-duty parts, or related sales experience preferred. Ability to work cooperatively with sales, warehouse, and delivery teams. Ability to provide accurate quotes, process orders, and manage customer requests efficiently. Manufacturer or industry training is a plus. Some travel may be required. Physical Demands and Working Conditions Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and computer work. Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Fast-paced environment with regular interaction with customers, drivers, warehouse staff, and vendors.
