Kenworth Sales Co., a 38-location Kenworth and Isuzu truck dealership group, is looking for a Used Truck Sales Coordinator to join our Chesapeake, VA team.
JOB SUMMARY
The primary function of the Sales Coordinator Administrative Assistant is to provide administrative support to the District Used Truck Manager. •Due to federally mandated DOT regulations, Kenworth Sales Company is a drug-free workplace. Any offer of employment will be contingent on passing a pre-employment drug screening.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Issue purchase orders and invoices pertaining to truck reconditioning. Track and close purchase orders for used truck reconditioning after invoice has been obtained from vendor. Purchase orders will involve internal company charges as well as outside vendors. Maintain truck files regarding the sale of used trucks including accumulating all costs to correctly prepare sales summaries and commission sheets. Assist Sales Personnel in the closing process if needed. Input all truck purchases into Arcadium and maintain accurate, real-time inventory records, including status and locations. Responsible for maintaining accurate advertising on Truck Paper and other listing platforms, including regular updates on pricing, specifications, photos, and availability statuses. Coordinate inbound and local truck movements. Generate and track aging reports and shop spend. Follow processes and procedures established by District Used Truck Manager to ensure that all administrative needs for the Used Truck Sales Department are being met. Support the District Used Truck Manager with miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or the equivalent. Ability to read, write, and comprehend English instructions and information. Excellent organization, communication, and time management skills. Some knowledge of heavy-duty trucks and the trucking industry. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Experienced working with computer systems and large data sets, including data entry, maintenance, and system navigation. Professional personal appearance.
