Role:
The Inside Sales Representative plays a critical role in driving revenue growth by managing and expanding existing customer relationships through remote communication channels. This position focuses on nurturing leads and closing sales within assigned territories using CRM systems to track and optimize sales activities. The representative will collaborate closely with outside sales teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and maximize market penetration. Success in this role requires the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapt to evolving sales strategies, and maintain a high level of product knowledge. Ultimately, the Inside Sales Representative contributes to the company's overall sales objectives by delivering exceptional service.
Minimum Qualifications:
Proven experience in inside sales or a related sales role. Proficiency with CRM software and tools. Strong computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel and other sales-related applications. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain customer relationships. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with outside sales or field sales coordination. Knowledge of sales territory management and strategic planning. Previous experience in a B2B sales environment. Familiarity with additional ERP platforms and sales automation tools. Demonstrated ability to analyze sales data to inform decision-making.
Responsibilities:
Manage inbound and outbound sales calls to generate new business opportunities and maintain existing customer relationships. Utilize CRM software to document all sales activities, track leads, and effectively manage the sales pipeline. Execute sales strategies with the support of management. Collaborate with outside sales teams to coordinate efforts and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales cycle. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, services, and industry trends to provide accurate information and tailored solutions to customers. Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and adapting to changing business needs.
