Job Description

Job description Richmond International Forest Products (RIFP) At RIFP, we build relationships and move product across North America. We're competitive, entrepreneurial, driven, and we reward people who bring the hustle. This is a high-energy, work-hard-play-hard environment with uncapped commissions, real ownership, and long-term upside. The Opportunity If you're competitive, people-driven, and hungry to build something of your own, this role is for you. As a Trader Trainee, you'll enter a proven training program that teaches you how to trade commodities, build relationships, and grow your own book of business from the ground up. You'll learn from experienced traders, many with 10-15+ years tenure, who've been exactly where you are.
What You'll Do:
Build and grow long-term customer relationships Prospect, negotiate, and close deals Learn how commodity markets move (and how to win in them) Develop and manage your own book of business Compete, grow, and get better every day
What We're Looking For:
Competitive, driven, and coachable mindset Strong people skills and confidence on the phone Resilience, grit, and a little edge Former athletes, sales-minded grads, and entrepreneurs thrive here Bachelor's degree is a plus—attitude matters more
Why RIFP:
This isn't a typical entry-level sales job. It's a long-term career with real earning potential, autonomy, and a tight-knit team that wins together and celebrates together. If you're hungry for success, motivated by results and want to be a part of a winning team, we want to hear from you!
