Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Hotel Sales Coordinator to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this pivotal role, you will be the driving force behind our sales efforts, ensuring seamless communication between guests and our newly renovated hotel services. The primary role of a hotel sales coordinator is to drive more bookings and revenue. Experienced professionals will accomplish this goal by implementing a range of strategies, from targeting untapped audiences to developing more tempting hotel deals. Your energetic approach and organizational prowess will help maximize bookings, foster strong client relationships, and support the overall success of our sales initiatives. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment while contributing to a welcoming guest experience. Duties Manage and respond promptly to inquiries via multi-line phone systems, email, and in-person interactions, providing exceptional customer support and service. Coordinate sales activities by maintaining detailed records using software tools such as QuickBooks and Microsoft Office, including data entry, bookkeeping, and filing. Assist with calendar management and scheduling for sales meetings, site visits, and client appointments using Google Workspace and other digital tools. Support office management tasks such as filing, proofreading documents, managing front desk operations, and handling clerical duties with precision. Maintain organized records of bookings, contracts, and correspondence to ensure accuracy and easy retrieval. Identifying new markets and sales opportunities Developing and executing sales strategies Building and maintaining relationships with travel agents and corporate clients Negotiating contracts and agreements for events, conferences and group bookings Coordinating with other departments and leaders Qualifications Proven experience in hotel sales management with strong organizational skills. Familiarity with computer literacy including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google Workspace, and basic data entry skills. Experience with hotel sales is highly desirable. Excellent phone etiquette with the ability to handle multi-line phone systems confidently. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in proofreading, filing, and record-keeping. Bilingual abilities are a plus to effectively communicate with a diverse clientele. Prior clerical or proven sales experience in a hospitality or hotel setting is preferred. Ability to manage time efficiently while juggling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Pay:
$17.50 - $20.00 per hour
