Job Description

JMJ Landscaping is now hiring for: The Inside Sales Support Specialist provides administrative, pricing, and coordination support to the sales team while delivering excellent customer service to walk-in, phone, and account customers. This role ensures sales orders are accurate, pricing is consistent, and communication between sales, operations, and customers is clear and timely. This position is detail-oriented and customer-facing, playing a key role in supporting revenue growth and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Sales & Order Support Assist sales representatives with order entry, quotes, pricing, and customer account updates Enter and manage sales orders accurately in the POS or order management system Prepare and update quotes, proposals, and sales documentation Verify product availability, pricing, and delivery timelines Customer Service Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and walk-ins Provide product information, pricing, and order status updates Resolve basic customer issues or escalate complex concerns appropriately Maintain a professional, helpful, and solutions-oriented customer experience Coordination & Communication Coordinate with yard, delivery, and operations teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment Communicate changes, shortages, or delays to sales reps and customers promptly Support scheduling of deliveries and pickups as needed Act as a liaison between inside teams and field operations Administrative & Systems Support Maintain accurate customer records, pricing lists, and product data Assist with maintaining sales catalogs, price sheets, and promotional materials Support data entry, reporting, and internal documentation Ensure compliance with company policies and sales procedures Sales Enablement & Support Help prepare sales reports, customer summaries, and account documentation Support onboarding of new sales reps with systems, pricing, and processes Assist with promotions, seasonal campaigns, and product launches Qualifications Required 1-3 years of experience in customer service, sales support, or administrative roles Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Comfortable using computers, POS systems, and basic office software Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment Preferred Experience in landscape supply, construction materials, or related industry Familiarity with POS, CRM, or inventory systems Experience supporting a sales team or account managers Knowledge of landscaping materials (mulch, stone, soil, hardscape products) Work Environment Office-based with frequent interaction with customers and internal teams High-volume, seasonal workload fluctuations Collaborative, team-oriented setting Key Success Metrics Accuracy of order entry and pricing Timely support of sales reps and customers Reduction in order errors or rework Positive customer feedback Strong internal communication and coordination
Pay:
$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
