Essential duties/responsibilities:

Customer Development & Relationship Management:

Proactively identify and engage new and existing customers to promote solutions. Build and maintain long-term relationships to secure repeat business and referrals. Provide consultative guidance on equipment selection based on customer needs.

Sales Execution:

Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed equipment sales revenue targets. Prepare quotes, negotiate terms, and close deals efficiently. Collaborate with the operations team to ensure timely delivery and pick-up of equipment.

Market & Territory Management:

Manage an assigned sales territory to maximize sales penetration. Research market trends, competitor activities, and customers need to identify growth opportunities. Attend trade shows, industry events, and networking functions to represent Excel Equipment.

Administrative Duties:

Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales opportunities, and potential rental transaction opportunities in the sales management software program. Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review. Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing structures, and sales agreements.
