Job Description
Inside Sales Representative Guaranteed Supply Company, a third generation, family-owned leading distributor of construction materials in the southeast, is seeking a full time inside sales representative for our Norfolk, VA location! The person in this position will work closely with our general manager to ensure all customer needs are met, including but not limited to helping keep the warehouse and showroom organized. Even if you don't have prior experience, come with a positive attitude and we will train you!
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pmCompensation:
$17-18/hr based on experience + quarterly inside sales commissions program Essential Functions and Responsibilities- Greet and assist walk-in customers with order requests
- Process purchase orders received via email and phone
- Enter purchase orders into the system to create tickets and invoices
- Work closely with the warehouse team to provide customers with timely service
- Pull items from the warehouse - operate a forklift and must be able to lift 50lbs or more
- Follow up on quote requests and purchase orders as needed
- Route new opportunities to the appropriate sales team for further development and closure
- Help keep the showroom stocked and neatly organized Experience and Skill Requirements
- Counter sales experience preferred but not required
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
