In this role, you will be working a rotating weekend shift and be the key driver of high-end flooring sales, providing expert guidance to customers throughout their renovation and remodeling projects. Your passion for interior design, construction, and lighting will help clients visualize their dream spaces while ensuring exceptional customer service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your sales skills in a fast-paced retail environment, with a focus on outside and inside sales, product demonstrations, and upselling premium flooring solutions. Responsibilities Engage with customers to understand their flooring needs and provide tailored recommendations based on their renovation or remodeling projects. Assist customers with inside sales transactions, POS operations, cash handling, and retail math calculations to ensure smooth purchasing experiences. Collaborate with the merchandising team to maintain attractive displays and stock levels that highlight premium flooring options. Support marketing initiatives by promoting new products, special offers, and seasonal promotions to increase sales volume. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries promptly, managing client accounts, and ensuring overall satisfaction throughout the sales process. Requirements Proven experience in outside sales or retail sales within the flooring, renovation, or construction industry is highly preferred. Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases. Familiarity with layout design tools such as SketchUp or CAD software; knowledge of lighting design is advantageous. Ability to negotiate effectively and upsell premium products while maintaining customer trust. Basic math skills for retail math calculations, cash handling, and POS transactions. Knowledge of remodeling processes, interior design principles, and maintenance practices related to flooring installations. Organizational skills for managing multiple client accounts and merchandising displays efficiently.
